Rwanda has not yet endorsed the Political Declaration on the use of explosive weapons in populated areas (EWIPA). It has not yet commented on the issue of explosive weapons in populated areas in multilateral forums. Rwanda participated in the Vienna Conference on the Protection of Civilians in Urban Warfare in October 2019,1 but it did not issue any statement regarding the use of EWIPA.
